This book is great! I am learning German and it was a very fun read. The story and pictures were very cute, and many words are repeated and can be understood from the illustrations, which helped me learn vocabulary.

However, you should get the omnibus "Ach, so schön ist Panama" instead! It is not much more expensive and it contains this story as well as five others by Janosch about der kleine Tiger und der kleine Bär:

That is the only reason that this book gets only four stars and not five. I wish I knew about the omnibus before I got this, because now I have both!
